With more than 35 years experience in the Australian debt collection industry, Paul has been involved in the evolution of the industry in this country.
Paul has many years experience managing high profile clients within all major industry sectors. His background includes introducing predictive dialler technology as part of the collections environment, and pioneering a variety of other initiatives around payment options, debt purchasing and call centre development.
Paul was the driving force and initial CEO of Australia’s first publicly listed receivables management company and his knowledge and experience continues to be at the forefront of the continuing evolution of ARL.
A Fellow and former councillor of the Australian Institute of Credit Management and a foundation President of the National Society of Commercial Agents, now the Australian Collectors and Debt Buyers Association, Paul has made an outstanding contribution to the development of the debt collection and receivables management sector.
Richard Cooney
Information Services Director
As Information Services Director, Richard maintains close involvement in the technology and support elements of the business.
Richard provides guidance and direction to the key strategic business plans.
Michael Barrist
NCO President, CEO. and Chairman
Mr. Barrist is responsible for overall operations, with emphasis on strategic planning and marketing. He has been widely recognized for his leadership role in growing NCO from a company with $75,000 in revenues in 1986 into one of the largest ARM and BPO firms in the world, with approximately 34,000 employees and $1.5 billion in combined revenues in 2008.
Mr. Barrist holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Drexel University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
John Schwab
NCO EVP and CFO
Mr. Schwab has responsibility for all corporate accounting matters. Since joining NCO in 2004, his areas of involvement included Securities and Exchange reporting, strategic transaction advisory, financial reporting, business reorganization, business process development and modification, and Sarbanes-Oxley implementation.
He has a diverse background of comprehensive financial management and accounting experience and his expertise includes senior management positions at publicly-traded companies as well as over eleven years of public accounting experience.
Mr. Schwab holds a B.A. in Accounting from LaSalle University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
